The UCL Centre for English Corpus Linguistics (CECL) is a specialist research centre with three core areas of research activity:

  1. Computer learner corpus research
  2. Cross-linguistic research
  3. Integration of (learner) corpus research into Technology-Enhanced Language Learning

The director of the Centre is Professor Sylviane Granger, Professor of English Language and Linguistics at the university.
